As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and genuine connection. I’m passionate about helping people rediscover who they truly are and supporting them as they move toward healing, self-acceptance, and emotional freedom.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working as a nurse, caring for people through some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. I later supported young people in care and those struggling with their mental health, experiences that deepened my compassion and strengthened my belief in the power of being truly heard. Those experiences, along with my own personal journey through anxiety and depression, have deeply shaped how I show up in the therapy room. I know how hard it can be to feel stuck or lost, and I also know that with the right support, things can change.
At Braver Days Therapy, I offer a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that every person has the capacity for change — and that reaching out for help is an act of courage. I will help you to uncover what’s holding you back and move toward a life that feels more grounded, more authentic, and more you — creating the space for your own braver days ahead.
Together, we’ll work to:
Understand and manage difficult emotions like anxiety, anger or sadness
Find healthier ways to cope with stress and overwhelm
Rebuild self-worth and confidence
Strengthen relationships and boundaries
Create a life that feels authentic, fulfilled and free
I bring a wealth of experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges including supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse, rape or sexual assault. I recognise deeply how such experiences can impact your sense of safety, trust and self worth - and I offer a calm and compassionate space where you can begin to rebuild at your own pace.
I also have extensive experience of working with people who are neurodivergent and am passionate about creating a counselling space that is fully inclusive - where every client feels respected, understood, and valued.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework, ensuring that my practice meets recognised professional standards of competence, integrity and care.

"We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed."
